Our History
Educate, Mentor, Encourage, Equip & Empower Women fulfill God's Plan & Purpose in their lives.
For centuries, women have served as the backbone of Christian ministries, congregations all over the world. From the pew to the platform, women have influenced the culture of the church and the community. Even during Jesus ministry time on earth women were the backbone of His ministry.
Over the years, there has been a rising call to women to step forward and embrace the great destiny that God has in store for each of them. Rev. Stella Sam-Ekhator (popularly known as Prophetess Stella) has sense the growing importance to release women into their God-given purpose.
As the number grow, the need for good foundation and development of these women increases. These women are from different backgrounds, women with a not-so perfect past, they need to be educated, mentored, encouraged, equipped and empowered to fulfill God’s plan and purpose in their lives.
Years ago, the Lord gave Prophetess Stella this word, “There is a role for my daughters to play in this end-time harvest, the problem is that majority of them are unprepared, they feel inadequate and are not ready and well equipped”.
Prophetess Stella has come to found this to be true, partly because of the type of foundation they had or the lack of it.
Prophetess Stella desire is to see women who have experienced pain and abuse discover restoration to celebrate the beautiful and virtuous woman God created them to be. Her vision is pointing these women to Jesus through practical life realities. Teaching them on how to enrich their lives so that they may recognize their gifts, walk in their purpose and understand the anointing that richly dwells within them.
Through Destiny Women International, she wanted to see women educated, mentored, encouraged, equipped and empowered to rise up and fulfill their God given mandate in a time like, this through the leading and power of the Holy Spirit.
See what the Scripture said: “A capable, intelligent and virtuous woman, who is he who can find her? She is far more precious than jewels, and her value is far above rubies or pearls” Proverbs 31:10 AMP.
